Royals Director Nomination Form
To All Member Families of the Wintersport Royals The Board of Directors of the Wintersport Royals Minor Hockey Association is soliciting Nominations of Members to serve as volunteer Board Members. "Members" are the parents, stepparents, guardians, or other persons, older than 18, who were responsible for paying fees for children participating as Royals during the 2007 -08 season. As a Member run non-profit organization, the Board of Directors provides a vital and necessary role in the governance, oversight, and administration of the Club. All current Members of the club are eligible for nomination to the Board of Directors. Members may nominate themselves, as well as other parties. All nominated parties will be confirmed by the Recording Secretary. Board Members are voted in and serve a 3-year term. Up to 6 new Board Members are needed for the upcoming season. Roles and responsibilities within the Board are selected by the President. Roles within the Board include governance roles, such as President, Vice President, and Recording Secretary; and administrative roles such as Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, Coaching Director, Operations Manager, Tournament Director, Uniform and Apparel Coordinators, Picnic and Banquet Management, Web Master, and Statistician.
